Dear Beloved Friends,
It is with a sad and heavy heart that I must inform you that Christie Cummings-Slack passed away Sunday 12/11/22 due to complications from pneumonia. She fought and struggled to stay with us; however, it was too much for her body to overcome.
She loved each and every one of you and was very thankful for all of the support that you have provided over the years. It meant a lot to her that she got to share her heart with each of you and it made her stronger for it. I know in my heart that she is looking down upon you now and will continue her work in Spirit.
We are having a celebration of life for her on the Winter Solstice per her wishes. We ask that on that day, 12/21/22, that you take a few moments to remember her and the impact she had on your life.
One of her favorite prayers was the Ho'oponopono prayer which is a Polynesian ritual for forgiveness of others and yourself. It is four simple phrases: "I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you." I hope you will find as much comfort from this prayer as she and I have. It helped us through 19 years of marriage. It was also the advice she gave to others when they were dealing with things they could not forgive themselves for. Trust me, it works.
I will truly miss her, she was half of my heart and I was half of hers.
I will keep her website active for one year and will give periodic updates.
Thank you for everyone who has donated to help us through this difficult time. I have felt the love you have for Christie and myself. I wish you all many blessings for the coming years.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Richard Slack
